SALT took a field trip to Harlem to design and shoot the main title sequence for Tribeca Productions new TV series NYC 22.
Using a mixture of location stills and live action to showcase the abundance of color, texture and personality found on the streets
through the eyes of six rookie officers, each seeing Harlem in their own way. NYC 22 airs Sundays at 10pm on CBS.

SALT is excited to continue working on this DIRECTV commercial campaign highlighting the exemplary advantages DIRECTV offers over their competition. Here we emphasize the plethora of channels DIRECTV offers compared to DISH Network. Using 2D animation in our 3D environment, our goal is to continue to convey the message in an understated yet effective and fun way.

SALT’s film Day At The Pool challenges the history of skateboarding as told in Stacy Peralta’s 2001 film, Dogtown and Z-Boys, by uncovering evidence that an anonymous local kid may have been the original pioneer of skateboarding long before the Z-Boys success in the late 70s. Another fun collaboration with Fox Sports producing a San Diego Padres broadcast toolkit incorporating the band Switchfoot’s release “Dark Horse.” We shot the band in a warehouse that was transformed into a baseball field, and we got to utilize a specially designed RC Oktocopter camera drone along with our Sony FS100 and Canon’s 5D and 7D.

Salt's celebratory retrospective for the 2010 Awards Gala for the Society of Publication Designers is an homage to the last 45 years of award winning magazine cover art, photography, and layout design.

SALT produced and directed this FSN Major League Baseball promo showcasing the band New Medicine. In order to capture the industrial heart of St. Louis and punctuate the Americana symbolism of baseball, we chose to produce much of the promo in 3D. This allowed us take our viewers on a journey to another time and place, a nice contrast to the grit of the current pop rock sounds. Finalist, Promax Sports Media Marketing Awards 2011.

NFL Network turned to SALT to design and produce fifteen Super Bowl Classics TV series promos. The show rebroadcasts the greatly remembered, and once highly anticipated, classic Super Bowl games. Because we had access to thirty-two original Super Bowl broadcasts, we were able to cull the most dramatic moments of the league and highlight the most legendary players.
